Vermicomposting is the most eco-friendly recycling process to reduce organic waste. This recycling process not only converts organic debris into high quality compost but the chemical changes that the debris undergoes makes the nutrients easily available to the plants. Vermicomposting also can reduce heavy metals and toxins found in sewage slush. It has also been found that vermicomposting helps to significantly reduce the presence of pathogens in organic matter.Earthworms consume organic waste and reduce the volume by 40-60 percent. Vermicompost also benefits the environment by reducing the need for chemical fertilizers and decreasing the amount of waste going to landfills. It is a natural fertiliser, so there isn’t any hazard caused to the soil and in turn the humans consuming the crops.

Our sapling growing setup is highly environment friendly. The greenhouse unit, helps retain the moisture in the designated area. What happens in the open field is, that a lot of water evaporates and the water requirement is high. But here, we are using much lesser volume of water per plant. Within 25-40 days, the saplings can be provided to farmers. We aim at bringing about a change in the food production in India by ensuring the crops produced are healthy and hygienic and thus have better nutritional value.We ensure good nursery hygiene as it is essential for disease free seedlings to be produced for transplanting in the field. Also we use natural fertilisers for our sapling production, so the crops produced are completely organic in nature.
